On Tuesday, top Justice Department official Bruce Ohr appeared on Capitol Hill for a closed-doors hearing before House lawmakers, who have been investigating the DOJ’s conduct during the 2016 election.
Ohr has been intrinsically linked to Christopher Steele, the man at the center of the now-infamous Fusion GPS dossier, which has served as the lynchpin for the Mueller investigation and the alleged wiretapping of the Trump campaign.
House Republicans indicated they had strenuous questions for Ohr, who was confronted by Fox News reporter Catherine Herridge as he headed into the hearing on Tuesday.
Ohr, however, refused to answer questions, and appeared calm while heading in to speak with members of the House Oversight Committee.
