During a Sunday interview, a mainstream media reporter asked golf legend Tiger Woods about his “friendly relationship” with President Trump.
Woods, who plays golf with the president, was asked about Trump’s immigration policy, as well as US race relations, and appeared annoyed with the direction of the interview.
“I’ve known Donald for a number of years,” said Woods, explaining, “I’ve known him pre-presidency and obviously during his presidency.”
Woods continued, stating, “He’s the President of the United States. You have to respect the office. No matter who is in the office, you may like, dislike personality or the politics, but we all must respect the office.”
Later in the interview, the reporter pressed Woods again on race relations, asking him if he wished to comment, to which he replied, “No. I just finished 72 holes and really hungry.”
