This is because the process is paper based and the check is posted to a physical address. On the other hand, the online process for not require does not take up to half the time as the police station. The actual application takes about a maximum of 10 to 15 minutes and the result gets sent to the participant’s email within a day or two.
The individual fills out an online form, pays then verifies by uploading certain documents. It is important to note that only ACIC accredited online agencies can be used.
